My Why

Frankie and Flour was born from love and loss. The "Frankie" in the name honors my beloved dog, Frankie, who was immunocompromised and inspired this journey. She tragically passed away in December of 2024 at only a year and a half old. Because commercial foods often made her ill, I began preparing her meals from scratch. Through that experience, I discovered the value of simple, high quality ingredient and the difference that thoughtfully made food can have.

The same appreciation of wholesome, limited ingredient recipes led me to the art of sourdough baking and revealed the incredible versatility of naturally fermented bread. Today, I am proud to share handcrafted sourdough baked goods alongside limited ingredient dog treats made with the same care and intention that Frankie inspired. Every loaf and every treat reflects a commitment to quality, transparency, and belief that the best food starts with the best ingredients.

My hope is that every loaf, baked good, and treat brings comfort, joy, and peace of mind to the families and pets who enjoy them. Thank you for allowing Frankie's legacy to live on through the simple act of sharing wholesome, thoughtfully crafted food.
